My Girl Crush

I know, I know. There's not much I can really say. I know I left ya'll hanging in the worst kind of way. But I'm in a new space now - mentally and physically - so I now I am ready to share my thoughts with you again.

Where should I begin?

I have discovered my white alter ego! The similarities between myself and this woman are remarkable: she's cute and nerdy and funny. She tends to settle for relationships with men that have disastrous results.

At one point she actually considered having a relationship with a friend who just happened to be a lesbian.

I must confess.....

It's crossed my mind......

But I don't know any lesbians.

She's a professional woman who works hard but hasn't quite learned how to have fun and completely let go. She has to manage a crazy, megalomaniac boss (with an ego, I suspect, that has an inverse size relationship to his wee wee). She sings the songs from the Broadway musical Annie. And not the ubiquitous "Tomorrow". She knows the words to "Maybe"

Betcha they're young
Betcha they're smart
Bet they collect things Like ashtrays, and art!
Betcha they're good -- (Why shouldn't they be?)
Their one mistake Was giving up meeeeee!

Who is it?

Liz Lemmon/Tina Fey from NBC's hit show 30 Rock. If you haven't seen the show I suggest you make it your mission to check it out. It airs every Thursday at 8:30 PM. It is hands down the best written/funniest show on television (with The Office as a close runner-up (more on that in another post).
